I hate how much of online gaming discourse revolves around bad takes made by ill-formed idiots looking to make a quick buck off rage-bait videos.

why does this guy always look like he had to look up how to smile in a book?
Should we lose these cheap knock-offs to time as well?
There are actual problems with this show. There are actual things that a skilled critic could address. There are actual plot issues, pace issues, dialogue issues, theme issues.
Which makes it all the more infuriating when Barsanti ignores them to make complaints that demonstrate his complete lack of media literacy:
Here’s more from Digital Bits:
To be fair, we don’t know what stage of development this is in or for what purposes this specific one was created for. Like, remember that the team making Mario & Luigi Partners in Time for the then-unreleased DS had to make their own DS out of two GBAs and an SNES controller and that’s not at all what the finished…
Valve take note and give us something better than a little border for our PFP or an emoji I’m never gonna use. I have so, so many Steam points.
Brandon clarified that it is Formosa (the English dub studio) that's at fault, not MHY.
It would be great if this became something that could spark investigations into this company further, or bring to light the predatory nature of Gatcha based mobile games (because lets be honest, the difference between lootboxes and Gatcha is barely a thing). Still, hopefully this works in the favor of the VA’s!

I mean let’s all be serious, they did such a shit job it would have been cheaper to not do it at all. I’ve yet to see anyone call their strategy anything other than terrible. Even this site agrees it was bad. If you’re going to do your job, maybe don’t suck at it.
Why the hell did Justin Long have a roommate in 2008? Dude had starred in like 15 movies by then.
Keep in mind that this movie is primarily based on the original Borderlands game, which doesn’t have the most complex or hard-to-tell story. So why nearly a dozen writers have been brought in to help poke and prod at the movie’s script, I have no idea.

This is basically a really weird throughline from hello kitty online, to south park, back to hello kitty online, now to this.
It says a lot about our fucked up tax laws that it is cheaper for companies to make a show like this or Snowpiercer or Batwoman and never release it than it is to just release it. Especially when we are in the middle of a writers strike and the pool of new content has to be drying up.
Yeah, so keep buying physical media of shows you like as long as you can. It might not always save the shows from cancellation... but it’ll keep them from being just a memory.
Smile is not a good movie. It is somebody who watched too much A24 thinking they could do metaphor and failing.

My 2 cents to the PS4 VR guide is to install Plex on a computer on your network instead of using USB stick. Plex does a pretty good job of converting codecs the PS4 doesn’t like into something it does. Otherwise it’s mostly the same, open Media Player, find your files, hit Triangle for the menu and then go to VR mode.…
