You took the words right out of my mouth!  I also rolled my eyes at first, but when I took half a second to think about it, the author was not at all making a judgement call.  Content warnings are great for everyone.  Hell, half the time they exist just to give people a heads up.  Someone might not necessarily have an

SEARCH ALL WARPED IN ENEMY BASES FOR WARP CRYSTALS!!!!! And if you can’t yet access a warp crystal, it means there’s enemies nearby that need to be defeated!  Some of the funniest things in the game come from the things you can warp into your world.  They’re more enjoyable if you can afford them as you go, rather than

outside of maybe fury artist...I really woudn’t call any of these weird...but maybe that’s because I have a BFA.

USBs and other external storage media are most certainly not analog...it’s still digital...physical media =/= analog.

Nah, “High Tech Backdrops. We no longer need to replace the background in the computer, it can just be done live on set.” Would be my dinner party explaination. Advanced rear projection is good, but yeah, the layman probably wouldn’t even know what that means.

I agree with the core of what you’re saying, but don’t the volumetric sets use motion tracking on the camera to be able to move the camera?  Maybe it’s only to a very small degree for the sake of small, yet dynamic, camera moves.  Not something where you can change how a scene was intended to be shot.

I thought the theory was that MacReady replaced the scotch with gasoline.  In the final moment we don’t see MacReady drink the scotch, but Childs does.  Childs does acknowledge that it’s gasoline, so in that moment MacReady knows Childs is the alien.

I think Dark is a much better show than 1899, but it is definitely a lot more...“dark” lol. It’s definitely more of a German show, whereas 1899 is much more Americanized in terms of tastes and sensibilities.

Gawker shills for Samsung appliances HARD.  I swear, every other day they’re advertising a Samsung appliance Sale.

No 1899?

Buying another cable from Apple...which used to be included...doesn’t really seem like a solution...definitely not a “Lifehack” at the least.

Unless you have a wet/dry shop vac...then you can suck up pretty much anything.

This would actually explain why so many liquor stores in Wisconsin have no windows, haha.  At the very least, they usually have small ones up at the top of the wall.  Makes sense, also allows more shelf space to sell more booze.

Do Gawker writers have some aversion to putting pictures in their posts?  Why would I just take your word for something so starkly visual?

The x-axis is always the independent variable. Proficiency of a subject is the independent variable. 10% proficient is always 10% proficient independent of how much effort you put into getting there. Effort is the dependent variable because it may take one person 10hrs of work to become 10% proficient, but it may take
