You can get it on Criterion. I really don’t think the movie is all that shocking compared to Cronenberg’s other work. This is purely anecdotal, but I worked for an older Hollywood producer and he told me about a talk given by the head of Sony Pictures about their production strategies. This was more than 10 years ago, so maybe things have changed, but it doesn’t look like it.
