I only wish that were true. Literally everyone acts like they don’t see it but sometimes I can’t help but stare. And annoy my coworkers by pointing out every cute cat in the windows.

Ps I’m obsessed with this gif and the cats were my favorite.
Everyone knows cats are really into drugs.
I love it! That’s pretty much what I would do.
No ones disagreeing with you, buddy. Thanks for the productive, helpful comment.
Where I work has the conference room giant windows that look directly into an apartment building. I cannot tell you how many times someone’s been droning on about budgets and I’ve glanced over and seen naked people, drunk people, cats, or people doing all kinds of drugs. It does help with super boring meetings.
I know! I actually read an article lately where a blogger actually followed khloe kardashians diet for a week. She actually passed out and was told by a doctor to stop! I mean 1. It’s the celebrity’s job and they have people taking care of every part of their lives! 2. They have surgeons/trainers/chefs dedicated to…
I can completely appreciate that perspective. I have interstitial cystitis and a big part of what I was sold was dietary changes. I went for it, but it totally made no difference. I can see that being the way someone would go to far down a path. Surgery and medication worked for me, but so many people tried to push…
It’s sooo true. I have a really good friend who doesn’t eat dairy, meat, wheat, potatoes, or anything that has sugar (even that in certain fruit)due to “dietary restrictions.” She is incredibly thin and has faced multiple health problems due to her not eating. I’ve known her for 25 years- the problem is she can ALWAYS…
Yes, I’ve heard that before. It really is striking.
I think the celebrity culture is also very very tied with this. You can’t look at tabloids and not see “look at what Jlo eats in a day!!” Articles everywhere. When you read it, it’s all these quac psuescientific theories about how dairy and gluten are bad for everyone and not eating nightshades or caffeine or anything…
My mom is too :(. Like the no dairy/gluten free thing.
Exactly! Like the tie between thinness and self respect has been spun in such a way that it’s almost pitiable if someone does go all in on this trend. It’s so gross.
I love this so much. I have so many girlfriends I worry about bc they are sooo into wellness that I believe it’s covering up disordered eating.
So how far of a drive is it from West Virginia to D.C.?
I have so man forks sticking out of my legs because I stopped feeling pain sometime around April.
Omg this was my first thought too!!!
I think most people just don’t think about the bigger picture. It is sad. Here’s some info: http://m.humanesociety.org/issues/captive_marine/facts/swim_dolphins.html
I’m all for seeing dolphins in a natural setting with no forced contact. :) I love when I see them frolicking in the ocean.
I do get it. I think they like how pretty they are and how “happy” they seem. I’m pretty much a hard liner on no wild animals as entertainment ever so I try to gently teach people, as I don’t think everyone that goes to sea world is a heartless monster. Hopefully we will continue to move in the right direction…
