As someone who has had his ‘88 Firebird keyed twice (had it fixed, then keyed in the same spot a month later) I agree 110%.

There’s a caveat though. Never use copper anti-seize on aluminum. Ever.

I started out a bit differently... I bought a junker with my dad when I was 16 and threw myself at it with all the scattered knowledge high school shop classes could provide.

Directly rearward the 2016 is worse since they sandwiched the rear window quite a bit. However the side mirrors are much wider and allow a much better field of view. The addition of a backup camera being standard is incredibly handy as well.

I agree! And I find my 2016 easier to see out of than my older 2013, so they’ve improved.

If my 2016 LT is any indication add the benefits of magnetic ride and it will handle anything you can throw at it.

Every time I buy a Firebird. Doesn’t matter what year.

I’ve got a coworker who insists “manual mode” in his Grand Prix makes his automatic transmission work the same as my six speed AY6.

I DD a 2013. Have for over a year, all year round. I had about a week or soso in the beginning where I found it difficult. Now? I have no issues seeing traffic around me at all.
