Oh Canada.

Ahh Doug. I never get tired of your writing. Thank you.

I have an ‘88 Trans Am. Love it even when its being a malcontent little shitbird.

Ugh. This makes me paranoid now. I drive a black 5th gen Camaro and up until now mine was the only black one in the area. Now there’s another similar one ripping around town.

I fall into that category and I bought my new car with 0 frills. I hate touchscreens and cameras and the like because I know they fail. I’ve worked in the auto industry both at the dealer and aftermarket levels. The cost of the sensors and gizmos is astronomical when compared to a normal consumable.

Used to work at a Crappy Tire in parts and service. One of our mechanics was a really old friend of mine, and considering how long he’s been a mechanic I was surprised he was working there.

You should check out third gen Firebirds/Camaros if you want another example of genius engineering.

Lovely singing voice.

Stop it! STOP FEEDING MY ADDICTION.

Fifth gen Camaros.... With manuals.

The visors in my camaro are so small they have no purpose. They're like a postage stamp.

3. The dealer tried to sell me the "82,500 mile service" ($286.00 plus tax), until I patiently informed them that I had completed this service three months earlier at a different Land Rover dealer, and the record is undoubtedly in their computer system.

On the other hand... It looks better than Sochi...

The things I would do with this car... Glad I'm not in California or I'd be buying that right now to hell with common sense.

This. A thousand times this.

Wow. This right here is why I am always nervous about taking my car to a dealer, specially the one in my area who has already proven inept.

Wow! The memories. My dad had one when I was growing up. We got hit turning left through an intersection by a girl in a Sunfire not even a day after she got her license. She ran the red and clipped us right at the rear wheel and spun us around.

They can have my key when they pry it from my cold dead hands after i hit a tree while knocking the key out of my ignition attempting to do a front seat back flip.

This your car?

The Gen 1 SBC has to be one of the most prolific motors in history. That thing has been in more than one vehicle from more than one manufacturer in every decade in one form or another since its inception until the mid 2000s when it was finally "retired". But you can still buy them brand new from GM so not really
