I considered that route too. Considering I still have an excess of spare parts I still might!

Ha! The P45 was what I used after I got tired of EVGAs RMA turn around times. Good solid board, but not nearly as feature rich as the 790i. But so far everything has been running smooth.

Fun overclocking time it is then! Thanks Linus! The best part is if my 790i fails i have an ECS P45 waiting in the wings.

Linus! Long time fan!

For the chevy nuts a base model LS Camaro with the six speed manual is a steal.

My Camaro is base model and I have no regrets. In fact if I HADN'T bought my base model LS I wouldn't have gotten my manual. So many automatics these days.

So true! I'm going to try and finish my transmission swap this spring and get it back out to pound the pavement once again.

Man, I'm petrified of taking my car to a show too. I've been working on mine for ten years and it's a mix of primer; bondo; bare metal and rattle can paint until I can finish every little imperfection.

Now that is a bad-ass looking Caddy.

Now that's an "If only I had the money..." kind of thing if I've ever seen one.

I miss George Carlin.

And that is why I am perfectly content with my 18" Heritage Steels on my Camaro.

This is clearly none of our bisiness.

What stupid thing haven't I done is the better question.

I love Grand Nationals. I have an unhealthy obsession with them and I've been hunting for a good (don't care if I have to fix it first) 1986 model for years now. Some day.

Heh. I just went through a huge ordeal to swap a modified 2004R into my Apollo. We were hoping it would survive a season or two of light cruising behind the Pontiac 400. We made it 3km before the poor thing just gave out. I guess the 450 ft-lb at 1000RPM was too much for the poor slushy.

Hah! As someone who once made the mistake (long long ago) of buying an 80 Firebird from someone very similar to these guys... CP. So much CP.

Buick Grand National! I have some sort of bizarre obsession with them. I can't get enough of them! I think it has to do with being a child of the 80s. Such a bizarre and menacing vehicle with incredible V6 power.

You wouldn't catch this Canadian owning a car with his brother.

We have used Vortec 4.3L V6 motors to drive darley fire pumps when building Outboard powered fireboats. They make an awesome sound when adapted to marine use.
