Doughnut hole car?
Doughnut hole car?
Do I feel bad for people who spend way too much on a car? Assuming the question is geared toward people spending more on a car than they can afford...Probably not. But as an almost-middle-aged guy who learned the hard way from the mistakes I made in early adulthood, I can sort of empathize with a naïve kid who goes…
If you secure financing before you go to the dealer, it will help to reduce your time at the dealership. Most of what you are negotiating isn’t related to the purchase of the vehicle but the terms of the financing (they’re trying to sell you a loan at a higher rate). When you walk into a dealership with a loan in…
Nice. Could also include Pontiac, Plymouth, Saturn...
Hyundai will always occupy a space in my mind somewhere in the vicinity of Isuzu, Daewoo and Yugo. I suspect that’s why they chose to rebrand their flagship without attaching the metaphorical weight of that encircled “H” on it’s grille. That having been said, rather than thinking of Hyundai’s past in terms of crawling…
I’m not arguing that this isn’t crackpipe, but we have a very different definition of “Hyundai’s dark days.” I mean, the Tiburon was a crummy car, but it was at least on par with contemporary crapcans like the Chevy Cobalt...
NthuZst, with emphasis on the “Z?” Well played, sir.
Well deserved, Mehhhh.
“I don’t share your point of view of the world - that doesn’t make me wrong. Just different than you.” Where do you draw the line? When Kyrie Irving says the world is flat, is he not wrong? How about if I was to say that a 1984 Yugo is a better quality car than 2017 Cadillac? Would I not be wrong?
Shall we address…
Hey, this is America. You’re free to make a lot of stupid decisions. You’re even free to express how proud and unremorseful you are of those stupid, f#cking decisions. USA! USA! USA!
Dude, your ignorance is showing. Aside from the fact that no quid pro quo has been substantiated, allowing foreign investment (what only became a 20% share after the fact when Rusatom increased their holdings of Uranium One) is a vastly different prospect than your suggestion that we agreed to “give...20% of all…
Honest to goodness, ignorant question here: What are the advantages to using Hydrogen fuel cells vs. Hydrogen fueled internal combustion (I recall Mazda had a hydrogen powered Renesis rotary at one point years ago).
I’m looking forward to reading about his trip to Moab to off-road in a $500 RX-7 next year!
So much crackpipe... For that price, you can get a contemporaneous Mercedes-Benz in similar or better condition. That Benz will handle better, be more comfortable, and have significantly more power.
The new Ducati Monociclo!
Yeah, I’m just taking the piss. I think my Duc Scrambler has 7,500 mile intervals and I think my Bonneville was 12k.
I know of at least one Bonnie owner who was attempting to adjust his valves on the bike and accidentally dropped the cam chain tensioner blade down into the motor requiring a pretty thorough…
I still say that the Shopvac is the best $/hp value...
Isn’t that the requisite 2,500 mile maintenance for a Duc? ;)
Maybe it’s just because I live in an area w/ hard water, but leaving it to dry after rinsing with the hose is a great recipe for water spots. I usually sop up most of the water with a cotton terry towel, and then use a small leaf blower to dry off the bike completely.
Also, if you have any chrome/polished aluminum,…
Came here to mention that!
