I can imagine Patrick having a file on his computer with cheerful pictures of kei cars labelled “OPEN IN CASE OF AMERICA” for when tragic events occur. Thank you!

I struggle to understand people that finance a $40,000+ vehicle and garage it, using their beater to commute to work. “I don’t want to load it up with miles.” they say. WHY NOT? Are you keeping it low miles for the next owner? Enjoy it for goodness sake!!

The xmode feature is helpful in certain circumstances when traction is harder to come by. Particularly going up the smoothly frozen driveway at my house in the winter. The drive is at a small incline, and in xmode it moves up and into the garage with absolutely no difference in vehicle characteristics versus dry

The design concept for this car was centered around Sergio’s desire to find a merger partner - make it as fast as possible, yet still wind up all by yourself.

I am interested to see how the CVT will be treated within this new structure. The daily vs. driver rating aspect will see this as usual, but I would be interested to see the generational gaps / not-new reviews on some of these as they continue to progress.

I agree with this completely, particularly for engine choices. For example, it was frustrating to see many reviews (not necessarily on this site) and tests for the fully loaded Outback with the 3.6L engine when the 2.5L engine is what almost everyone is going to buy. In many reviews it was listed as the best value

The poorly (or perfectly?) placed sticker below CNN may lead some to believe the driver is named Michael Kors lol

Every so often, I thought it was as weird as it was going to get.

I see you watched RCR’s Fox Body video.

Normally I don’t care about race cars.

My wife’s grandma has owned this lovely car since she bought it new in 1989.

And wheel bearings, ball joints, timing belts, anything electrical under the hood...

1984 Ford Escort GT Turbo. Why? My dad had 2 Escort GTs from 85 and 86 with the 1.9L EFI and a few other Escort cars too. I learned how to wrench on these cars and have a serious soft spot for them. The Turbo sounds like a ton of fun/work too!

It probably took longer to make the thumbnail for this article than it did to decide you were going to make this deal.

So, it is going to look like pretty much any other BMW they have made in the past 5 years? Gasp.

Good to know. Wife has a 2016 Civic and we both actually use the parking brake on our vehicles everytime. Guess we wait until November and continue to confirm the engagement of the parking brake by listening for the whir of the parking brake motor.

I hope their insurance covers Wild Dog Damage.
