Now playing

Great list, but they could have chosen 15 different episodes and it would still be a great list. Just to single one out, what makes Rapture’s Delight so great for me is how fun their post-apocalyptic world they built. My favorite is mentioning theBattle of Boca Raton” and how straight a reading it is. But my biggest

Hopefully this doesn’t do what the Mindy Project did and abandon half of the cast in the first season.

Ramona Young turns 21 next month. So I guess by Riverdale standards she is fine to play a high-schooler

I love Mindy & loved the early seasons of The Mindy Project, so I am pretty tempted to check this out.

He’s a regular at the bar I hang out at, (Or used to hang out at, when you were allowed to hang out at bars.) Despite being at the bar a lot, he’s quit drinking for several months now and has lost weight. So he doesn’t look like this anymore.

Because it’s the right character transformation as determined by propulsive narrative development. It doesn’t have to be “right”—it just has to fit, and it fits. Oh, how it fits! For all of this show’s dynamite shootouts and setpieces, the writers also know and develops the characters extremely well.

Ben Savage (Cory from Boy Meets World) was young Saul here, and he also played a young Mandy Patinkin in Criminal Minds. Talk about a niche.

It’s OK to use “would” when guessing about how someone might react to something. You can say, for example “Let’s give John Waters a surprise birthday party. I bet he would love it.”

For some reason three movies directed by Terry Jones--Life of Brian, The Meaning of Life, and Personal Services--were all banned in Ireland.

By garr! I thought Beverly Hills Cop II was the worst piece of junk ever, a giant step down from the first movie. My opinion is certainly no more valid than yours, though, but I’m curious: what do you like about the sequel? I ask not to challenge, but in the spirit of having my eyes opened to new and unlikely

This is my favourite background joke. It’s pretty smart.

I dunno, Disney the company has a long history of making movies that aren’t only for a family audience (and despite its kid-friendliness, I don’t think something like Thor is actually made with 10-year-olds in mind so much as it’s made with the understanding that 10-year-olds will also watch it), or for a family

The Father Ted Christmas special, Trainspotting  and Rome is a good career. And Greys Anatomy is great money. He’s done well for himself.

Still my favourite theme song

My definitive ranking of Bond themes. Which I put together because I am QUARANTINED BITCHES!

I was going to rank the songs based on if they were better or worse than the movie or equal (Good or bad) then I got lazy and never finished my rankings.

That’s a good one. My personal top 5:

This is a mitzva. I’ve been trying to see this movie since that (kind of funny) farrely bros/stiller remake came out. Just caught Mikey & Nicky on Criterion from the library, I was in no way prepared for how fucking good that was.

Hicks wasn’t a perfect comedian by any means(I always found his asides into 1960's LSD-soaked philosophy pretty grating) but presenting the dude who was infamous for absolutely eviscerating Desert Storm/Shield and the military-industrial complex in general in an era where that wasn’t exactly a popular mainstream

I can’t say I’m excited by the scatology and various “adult” signifiers, but the animation looks pretty great. I guess it could be really awesome, it could be annoying wankery, most likely it’ll be half and half?
