I’ve a feeling the Tuskan flashbacks will end up being over half of the season. Maybe the finale will be flashback-free?

Another fun part of Matt Berry being in this show is that Toast of Tinseltown, the Toast of London sequel series, just aired in the UK, and the reason Toast comes to the US is that he has a part in the new Star Wars movie (“Yeah, sure” - everyone he mentions this to throughout the season.)

Definitely one of Chibnall’s best episodes. Love Aisling Bea, and good to be back to a mostly stand-alone format.

So Miller could make a movie, set at Crystal Lake, featuring young frog-boy Jason and his teen-murdering mother?

I love Titane, but Petite Maman would have been the better choice. Very different movies.

In the spirit of using annoying internet talk, Long Hair Manny Jacinto can get it.

It’s very confusing that there are two different 2021 movies called Swan Song, and both of them are getting some awards attention.

He was on Sense8!

They’ve had actors in multiple roles before; Sersi in Eternals was identical to Minn-Erva in Captain Marvel with a different skin color.

The apparent retcon of it not being Val who hired Yelena is especially weird as it seemed in Black Widow like Val was getting rid of Clint for her own reasons, and basically lying to Yelena about his role in Natasha’s death to get her to do it.

S1 Steve Carrell yes, S2 absolutely not. The Italy stuff was so bad.

It’s A Sin was on HBO Max.

Huh. Executive Produced by Robert and Michelle King, with their Evil star Aasif Mandvi hosting, and Matt Walsh and Sabrina Jalees as team captains.

I got the some of the Best of DVDs, for the Fry & Laurie stuff, and quickly started to skip through most everything else. There’s a few other fun curios, like early Craig Ferguson, and some of the Harry Enfield bits.

It’s a show about murders IIRC, so I guess they can just kill her off?

I just binged Seasons 3 and 4, which were great. The show improved a lot once it ditched the whole “try to get revenge/back to Harvard” angle and just became a sitcom about a wacky school featuring Patton Oswalt and Paula Pell.

I don’t like the Critics Choice Awards, but these are mostly good nominations.

Highly recommend the GQ interview with Harrison linked to above.

I like the show, but it does seem like it would be better with a set ending. The first season was already getting a bit repetitive.

FFX is still the only Final Fantasy game I’ve played, and I only got about 2/3 of the way through it. I enjoyed it at the time, but after taking a break at some big boss battle I couldn’t get back into it.
