I mean, it was the mid-00s, the internet existed and Skins was a popular show. You can look up what people said about him.

I like that casting two of the three leads of Once Upon a Time in subsequent seasons was completely coincidental. Here’s hoping for Jennifer Morrison in Season 3!

Is there any word on when they’re filming the extra special? That’s probably when the next actor will show up, so the casting is usually announced then to avoid leaks (though it usually leaks a few hours/days early anyway, except for Capaldi IIRC).

I don’t want the next showrunner to be stuck with Chibnall’s bullshit, so I hope he wraps all his dumb plotlines up by the time of the final special.

Ellen Burstyn will probably be close to 90 by the time this happens, so... I hope they have a contingency plan?

And, just for kicks, the SDCC panel was hosted by the guy who played Lucifer on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

I liked that arc, it didn’t feel like filler to me. It was needed to get Ahsoka’s character back into position for the finale arc.

For the final season of Clone Wars, I felt as though there was a 4 episode stretch of filler before the incredible finale arc

Pytka’s point was apparently that Jordan was one of the most famous people on the planet, period, when Space Jam came out, whereas James is… One of the most famous people on the planet, period?

Yup.

I had heard they recut this movie after the poor reaction to the premiere last year; I was hoping they would get rid of the whole twist aspect of it, which seems in poor taste.

They were able to dig out every Jon Stewart episode for that marathon they did ahead of the finale; I assume at least some of the Kilborn stuff is in a vault somewhere.

Matt Nix also created The Good Guys, another pastiche of old cop movies and TV shows, but one that was definitely in on the joke. That show had problems, like having no idea what to do with the supporting cast, but it was a lot better than this sounds.

Sad reality: Chibnall has said he’s staying on for the next Doctor. That season likely won’t air until 2023 (a season this year and specials next year for Whittaker), meaning he’ll probably be in charge until at least 2026 or 2027.

Hey, things look slightly different here.

You have to have been in less than half of the episodes to be a Guest. I think that just about ruled him out. A few years ago, Peter MacNicol was nominated for Veep, and then disqualified when someone pointed out a voice cameo in one other episode brought his count too high.

Hey, even the origin of the uber-lame “My name is Rappin’ [x] and I’m here to say” rap opening is from a Fruity Pebbles ad.

There was a script outline for VI by Walter Koenig in which almost all the TOS crew would have been killed off:

I think the rules on this are confusing (and change every few years), but IIRC, she’ll have to pick one of those opening eight episodes as her submission, and will technically be eligible for the rest of the season next year. This is from 2017:

Hey, Cena’s going to have his own superhero series starting soon too. Any guesses on the over/under for how many nominations that receives this time next year?
