Not a good movie, but the theme song’s up there with Bond’s best, even if it’s possibly the one with the least connection to the actual film:

For those looking for The Heartbreak Kid, it’s pretty much completely unavailable legally (even on DVD), but the full movie is on Youtube:
This was the first slasher movie I ever saw, at a sleepover when I was 10, and even then I think I was disappointed by the reveal of the killer. Haven’t seen it since.
Assuming there absolutely is not a Halloween Heist episode this season
I’m guessing this episode was done before Knives Out was released, considering the lack of references?
Was that Jemaine Clement singing “Mr. Universe”?
Just started a re-read of the novel (in audiobook form), and am really looking forward to this.
$40 million in its opening weekend, which is a good $38 million more than the week’s other new movie, Ben Affleck’s The Way Back (it made $8.5 million)
For TLJ, Rian Johnson was involved in the novelisation, but I don’t think there’s been any mention of Abrams for this one.

I assume Tessa Thompson is playing Delores, not Charlotte, given the S2 finale.
You might be confusing Stuart Townsend with Dougray Scott, who was supposed to play the lead role in a movie that never happened. They’re mostly the same person.
He was an actor at the time! His own show, Scrotal Recall (later renamed Lovesick) aired at the exact same time as Detectorists, on a different channel.
Weirdly, Chris and Burns aren’t even credited on IMDb yet. Literally the only place I found crediting them online is comedy.co.uk.
Yeah, he’s 36, 13 years older than Taylor-Joy.
I enjoyed this a lot. It gets a bit too cartoony at points, especially the music, and the second half of the movie drags a bit. Still a lot of fun though, and the cast is mostly excellent. Nice to see some of the Sex Education cast start to pop up in supporting roles.
