There’s some good stuff in the back half of the comic, but the first 30+ issues are awful. I’d say it’s just a series of bad gay jokes, but it’s mostly the same gay joke, over and over, and that joke is just “superheroes are gay.

They do get a theatrical release.

The first half of his Spider-Man run (Up to Sins Past or so) is great.

Yeah, S7 started filming back in February.

knowing that there’s an end-date ahead of time gives the writers a chance to craft a proper conclusion

Jessie Buckley!

I was put off by Marc Warren being on the show. I don’t think I’ve ever liked him in anything.

That’s not the official trailer Youtube page, no.

Friday Night Lights is the best example.

Guest Actor for SNL.

Bah, I meant Public, yeah.

The Pascal stuff was weird, because that plotline was clearly meant for Channing Tatum, until he had to have his role reduced.

I really shouldn’t have been surprised that David E. Kelley managed to turn yet another TV show into a dull courtroom drama. I used to watch Boston Legal, and those teachers seemed to end up in court all the time. They even brought in Jeri Ryan as a former bigshot lawyer who decided to become a high school teacher.

It does have the problem where the entire 30-issue series seems to take place over a few days (I think, I haven’t re-read the early issues). Unless they plan to only do one season, that could be an issue.

I believe he said he shut it down when he realized that he was just making Family Guy again.

Given the HBO focus, I’m guessing this one will be US-only? I hope the shows they have exclusively are available somewhere outside the US.

Technically, this is supposed to be the “actor” playing Pete, not the character from the movie.
