It got the Audience Award at TIFF, where almost every winner for the last decade has at least been nominated for Best Picture.

Absolutely, especially with the Mama Cass song, echoing the wonderful S2 cold open.

...they did use the word horror.

Hooray for B99, but I’m going to miss Superstore during its three months off. Great season so far.

Just saw this this evening. It was okay, but for a movie about Nazi mad scientists, it felt very generic and predictable. My favourite part was the opening half-hour or so, when it’s just a WW2 movie, and I’m not even a big war movie fan.

Slashfilm say TV movie, but not clear if it’s for AMC. Could go straight to Netflix, who have the international rights to BB/BCS.

And has been constantly tweeting about the movie.

Without Eva Green, I don’t know what the point is. S3 really suffered from her reduced presence.

I’m impressed that both Daniels and Norman Lloyd are still alive. Lloyd turns 104 next week!

St. Elsewhere’s finally on Hulu! It’s worth watching, especially after Season 1.

I usually watch one episode a year. The last few years, even the better episodes make me sad. Dan Castellaneta and especially Julie Kavner just sound really old.

I mean people decorate their houses for the month and on the weekend you do things that can be considered Halloween stuff

There’s been pushback in countries like Australia, New Zealand, and Germany, that Halloween is too American, but the holiday’s popularity has grown in all three countries nonetheless.

I mostly know “To Serve Man” because of The Simpsons parody. Which is how I first knew “Nightmare at 20,000 feet” too, but not only for that.

Of course, next week’s episode, titled “The Gang Wins The Big Game” might somehow pull all this mess together. Even if it does, though, that would just prove how incomplete “Charlie’s Home Alone” is on its own.
