I think the theory I've seen about Wright's character is that JL will have a flashback to an earlier alien invasion the Amazons fought off.

It would also make the stuff with the photo in the WW movie and BvS even more pointless.

I don't get the point of bringing Steve back. Pine's great, but the character's dead. Him having a surprise identical grandson or something stupid is just unnecessary.

He still does live action acting (he plays Maigret on TV), but doesn't seem to have any interest in being in movies any more, aside from his own.
