"Best worldwide debut" has always struck me as an odd metric. It usually just means you released the movie in a load of countries at once rather than rolling it out over a few weeks.
They planned on 10, but had to do reshoots on some stuff that ate up their budget.
I really liked her on Brotherhood, as Jason Isaacs' and Jason Clarke's mother. She was barely in the final season, and her absence was definitely felt.
The lawyer/coach is played by Dallas Roberts, which has me interested.
I watched both seasons of Billions in the last week or so.
He's supposed to be writing a screenplay based on his latest novel, directing a movie, and adapting Vonnegurt's Cat's Cradle as a mini-series too.
That's not a Netflix show, it's an import.
It's far too expensive for that. And I don't think the creators were involved at all in the efforts.
So, which Netflix show is next to die? I hope it's Flaked. Or Iron Fist.
I think it was just that filming clashed with Ross's UK talk show.
Yeah, but Ross came over for the first US season too, four years after the UK one.
Or just do the wedding as a two-parter. Spreading it out over a whole season was stupid, caused by them thinking people wanted the show to end as soon as Ted met the mother.
Yeah, it was a bubble show the first few years. IIRC, it was the Britney Spears guest appearance in S3 that first cemented it as a breakout success, getting by far the show's best ratings of the season.
I loved and still love the Lost finale. The final season definitely has problems though.
The show had already gone down a lot in quality by the finale, so it wasn't that much of a disappointment to me. More that the whole final season or two was a disappointment.
Idiotsitter on Comedy Central are airing four episodes of S2 tonight, and the other three next Saturday. Works for me (except that I'm sure they announced it would be ten episodes initially). I think 12 Monkeys on Syfy did a similar thing, airing a season over one weekend.
It seems like a logistical nightmare, which is why I’m feeling like there will be a time jump at some point in next season’s premiere.
They need to beat The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, which will take another three seasons.
Angela had an ongoing for a short while too; she might have been the first?
