I was thinking the Goblin Queen
While a lot commenters here are talking about low wages being the problem I’m also wondering if the mangers/owners attitudes are also the problem. The interview is supposed to work both ways the applicant is supposed to get a feel for the bosses so maybe they are getting a bad feeling up front.
They can always go hunting together.
Imagine if someone told you in 2009 that the demonspawn of Dick Cheney would be seen as the most ethical member of the GOP House Caucus? The woman that had to distance herself from her lesbian sister so she could win her first election and shares every single political ideology of her father is now the second or…
Hopefully Dick will arrange for McCarthy to have an “accident”. McCarthy doesn’t seem to understand the dark forces he’s dealing with.
I was sort of hoping that link to Kirsten Larson’s Midsummer outfit would lead to a blindingly white peasant dress, a flower crown and a boyfriend stitched into a bear.
I don’t really think they can, or want, to do better than this. They can’t gain readership by writing pieces that are thought-provoking, informative, or investigative anymore. So they go along with the lazy snark that will contradict itself week after week, because it gets clicks and comments.
You know, why not have Will Ferrell host actual Celebrity Jeopardy?
Aaron Rodgers is a good guy . . .
The sheer amount of thirst and entitlement Burton displayed has turned me off. I’ve got nothing against him otherwise, but at this point I’m hoping for a spectacular failure.
Gay man are just as misogynistic as Pat Robertson. For real!
If her demon father didn’t have the decency to croak when he had it, she’s not going to change any minds. This slobbering orc audience probably will drink bleach or cut themselves in half to let the ultraviolet light in first.
There’s an easy fix for this of course.
My eventual conversion to a sort of spiritual atheism took me about 20 years, starting in my teens. I no longer believe in god as a figurehead, but rather a sort of energy that connects us all. It’s been incredibly freeing and feels more moral and loving than anything any church I ever went to as a kid taught me.…
This was literally my first thought - we are finally finding out what the Internet Generation will do. Millennials walked (i can haz cheezburger?) so Gen Z could RUN and it’s so much fun to watch.
The frozen Tandoori Naan. It’s the closest take home naan to a restaurant that I’ve found.
Decisions made for individual health - like whether to drink or smoke or eat in “excess” - are vastly different from decisions made for public health. You have a moral obligation to accept vaccination in order to protect the people around you. You have no such obligation to live a lifestyle that might prevent…
THIS. This is in no way the same as cutting in line. If you had booted nurses and the elderly to one side while rolling your sleeve up, that’s wrong. But simply having your turn come up is just that--it’s your turn
Yep, 1000% this. There’s no guarantee that the vaccine you reject because you don’t feel like you “should” qualify will actually go into the arm of another person, because our vaccine roll-out/planning looks a lot like the rest of our lovely support systems in this country.
When it’s your turn, unapologetically get that shot. I have no patience for the stupid people who judge this. It does not matter why you’re eligible. You’re in line and we need to keep the line moving until everyone gets in.
