This article really seems to be sending me the message that Deadline is the place to turn for entertainment news, not The AV Club. Hey, maybe I could even comment on there without all my goddamn posts being sent to some grey Kinja purgatory where nobody will see ‘em!

As unwatchable as I find the current Daily Show, he’s definitely got a point: two parties isn’t enough. All we have now is one party that I fucking despise, and one party that I barely identify with anymore and means very little to me, but I keep voting for by default just because they’re the less obviously shitty

Hearing this news legitimately made me tear up. This ape was better than the vast majority of people are. R.I.P Koko.

I’m cautiously optimistic, but the notion of this still airing on MTV does make me sick (and more than a little sad). How much do you wanna bet that regardless of how big of a hit it is with viewers, they’re going to end up squandering it much like they did with the Beavis and Butt-Head reboot a few years back? For

Well, at least all those stupid Ariana Grande tattoos he got weren’t for naught! Better hope it lasts, otherwise he’s just gonna look like a guy with really horrible taste in music and poor impulse control.

I thought they were into sippin’ that sizzurp! Has rap music been lying to me this whole time??

I’m beginning to think Twitter “comedians” might be even lamer than Twitter “activists”. There’s plenty of smugness on display here, but very little actual humor.

“Hmm, this article is still a little short. Better pad it out with a few embedded tweets from some unfunny Twitter personalities!”

“Haddish also touches on how she got into comedy in the interview, including how her mother suffered a brain injury in a car accident when Haddish was a kid...”

“Fallon is just ‘no laff’ spelled backward”

The president has been kidnapped by ninjas.

You should have a high enough IQ to not mindlessly parrot a dead meme from last year.

I like this new song. More than that though, I’m amazed that this site was able to put aside Corgan’s crackpot right-wing politics/conspiracy theories, and actually judge the song on its own merits. It’s really kind of a refreshing thing to see on here.

On the plus side, they have a “dismiss” button you can use whenever some troll tells you to kill yourself, which is a sad inevitability on Kinja.

Recognitions has spoken! The people demand more toxicity and political divisiveness, because the way we’ve been handling things the past few years is really working out for us!

Regardless of whether it went well or not, when people of the future ask me why the 2010s were garbage, that picture of Donald Trump and Kim Kardashian in the Oval Office together is what I would put in the time capsule.

Yeah, this trailer was cute enough, but the notion of them going inside the internet is just an inherently less appealing premise than if they did a continuation of the “video game Toy Story” concept that made the original an instant classic. And of course as the article notes, it looks incredibly heavy on product

Those tweets were so unfunny, I almost would’ve preferred to see the racist ones instead.

I mean, this show has always managed to find the humor in even the bleakest of situations... I think that they could pull off an episode like that. Obviously they’d probably throw in some meta humor about her self-destructive addiction to “Ambien tweeting”.

“Johnny Knoxville, done up in old-age makeup Bad Grandpa-style...”
