I also saw a portrayal of a Muslim family doing a favor for the Connars that gave them the moral high ground. Did you watch the episode? I’m sincerely curious to hear your interpretation.

The first episode was the most political by far. People who claim the show is putting forth a right-wing point of view are either bad at understanding television or just plain lying.

Eh, my take is simple: I’m going to consume the media I feel like consuming. My preferences aren’t up for debate, particularly not on a platform rife with posturing and performative bullshit.
