There were rumors mostly started by a single person who said that she wasn’t talking about CK. Now we have direct accusations rather than vague hearsay. It’s almost like people’s attitudes change when the circumstances do!

Meh. I don’t see any need to apologize for making the distinction between a rumor and an accusation. Past articles and commenters misrepresented what they were and I don’t feel bad for pointing that out.

After reading The NY Times article, I’m glad a journalist investigated the rumors.
