It seemed way too on the nose that they had the guy wearing a fedora, which is generally considered to be the official hat of the Nice Guy™. It’s a little bit of visual shorthand to the viewer that we’re supposed to hate this guy and be on Sam’s side, when really, both of them came off looking pretty awful.
