can i also point out that Harry's only special power is his ability to love. along with being a human horcrux. and Neville could of very well have been the boy how lived. they both know what's it like to lose their parents to death eaters, they both value their friends above all other things, and the both stand up for

Dumbledor et al.... made Harry the hero, Neville simply was a hero. He's overlooked because in a wizarding world that's obessed with power and strength, Neville is the guy who is simply your basic good heart'd friend, who does what's right. Harry's our focal point, the nexus of the story, he's the fate accompli.

He killed Voldemort and fulfilled the prophecy in Order of the Phoenix. He was the actual chosen one so of course he was the hero. I actually really loved that little plot twist.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the story, but I did think that Snape was by far the most interesting character. A focus on him in the later books could have been even better.

For Neville, getting out of bed every day is an accomplishment. He knows that, without fail, something terrible will likely happen to him. But he does it any way. He is the ultimate BAMF, keeping everything together while Harry is off whining about how unfair his life is and getting all the glory.

It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.

I therefore award ten points to Mr. Neville Longbottom.

In a similar vein to Hermione, Neville rarely had greatness thrust upon him, as they say. He chose to fight for what he believed in, he chose to be part of Dumbledore's army, etc etc. He wanted to be amazing, so he worked very hard to do so. Especially since he was always portrayed as bumbling, forgetful, naive, etc.

I think, if the series had the twist of "Actually, Neville's the hero, Harry was a bluff.", I would've liked it a lot more.

The pelican was in on the plot, probably as its wingman

I do not like the writing here. Helmets are not "humiliating." Helmets are necessary, like seat belts in cars. Forgoing a helmet is not "badass," it is very stupid.

No. Sidewalks are for pedestrians, not bicyclists. It's dangerous for both parties when people bike on the sidewalk.

They have these at the county fairs around here as well. You are deceived, though. The ducklings are reaching out to get feed out of the trough at the top of the slide. Invariably, they either lose their balance or their siblings push them out of the way and down the slide they go! I don't know that this reaches

What do you expect from a woman that said this about her 3 year old?

HOLY SHIT. These videos really need to be combined into one call-and-response style Montage of Nightmare Insanity.

I am a legally mandated reporter for child abuse and I'm fairly certain I would at least call Children's Services to see if this was a reportable offense. Hot wax near a 3 year olds eyes. She may have been sleeping when the wax went on, but I have trouble believing she was asleep when it came off.

Racism against Roma people, unlike racism against any other kind of people, is totally legitimate. I know this because some Roma people treated me badly in the past. Roma people are the ONLY people that have ever treated me badly. No other group has criminals in it, especially white Europeans. This is likely due to

A few seconds after the Big Bang, as the universe expanded, it's density decreased enough to allow for something called "the photon decoupling."

Less anti-matter than matter? Depends on your point of view:
