Honestly, each generation can be split in half for a lot of things. I mean, the oldest baby boomers aren’t deplorable human beings. I think overall I actually enjoy Batman Begins more than TDK, just for the stronger overall story. I loathe the extra half an hour TDK adds to rush the Two-Face storyline. On every repeat viewing, I get to that part, and I’m like, “Holy shit, we still to wrap this up?”

Movies already made it as an art form, and a mature medium, long before Michael Bay starting crapping out 2 hour long explosions. Those movies do in fact get a ton of crap from the film industry, but it’s not as bad since for every Transformers you get a Spotlight.
