If the payload is small enough I don’t see why not.

It’s not really “assisted” as the turbopumps are part of all liquid rocket engines. The turbopump engine is what forces the fuel into the combustion chamber of the rocket. Normally the turbo pumps are driven by gas turbine engines. In this case the turbopump is electric instead of fuel powered.
Well the turbopumps are a pretty crucial part of a liquid engine, They practically are the “engine” in rocket engine. so you can safely say this is indeed an electric rocket engine.
Due to the trajectory and fuel limits the options are the ocean and the east coast of Florida, and the only really suitable places on the east coast of Florida are KSC and Cape Canaveral air force base. You can probably guess why NASA and the Air force might raise a brow at the Idea of a piratically fueled rocket…
Well id say there has been a lot of progress, I mean Cars still function the same as they did 50 years go, they are just more advanced. I't not like they aren't tiring develop new means of travel. The ballistic capsule is just the most efficient method. When you look back at shuttle, and crunch the numbers of what…
Actually ,one is a redundancy, it then goes on to double redundancy ,triple and so on.
Coal burning power plants release more radioactive isotopes into the air and water than nuclear power plants.
I don't seem to be having an issue, granted all 4 cores (and 4 virtual cores) are running at 80 to 90%.
NASA should just spray their craft with Gak instead of investing so much effort in developing heat shields.
I'm skeptical. This would undoubtedly cause damage, but I doubt it would be able to cause as much damage as it claims. There are lots of small sensitive components between the usb port and south bridge, by guess is at most it would take out USB bus first rendering the device inoperable. If say it did manage to send…
I know what you meant to say,I was just curious if you realized what you actually said. It's actually more of an analytical reaction than a knee jerk.
Not all white people are intelligent and wealthy but your statement still makes it sound like your saying black people are not /can not be intelligent and wealthy... got it .
Isn't that kind of a loaded raciest statement. You basically just said black people(or non white) are poor and dumb.
let us all remember that under Obama and a democratic congress NASA's budget has been cut to nothing, mission to mars was set back due to ending constellation, and shuttle was ended before we had another vehicle leaving russia as the gate keeper to the ISS.
As a gun enthusiast, libertarian I can honestly say I don't agree with what Cody Wilson is doing, he's an anarchist plain and simple, but I get it...if that makes any sense. And under law...he's not doing anything wrong:
if you watched the movie you would accept it. The 4th wall in this movie is more of a sheer drape. The entire movie is a self proclaimed satire on sequels...and yes they did indeed move into the church across the street to 22 jump street, and even made mention of the bigger church being built on 23 jump street.
I'd guess it has to do with leaving the Vehicle on the pad for longer than it needs to and being concerned about potential for damage...and budget... Since this is a ULA launch NASA is basically Paying them for support and all the NASA personal and when you think of all the people involved and some 48Hrs worth of…
this video is outdated but the plan is the same just replace ares with SLS. They plan on doing exactly what your saying, just using Orion. Also Orion can support a crew of 4 for 24 days, has a bathroom, and designed to deal with high speed reentries and high radiation . Its the first component to a larger modular…
Orion MPCV was built primarily for this, then SLS, then moon mission, then to mars (At least that's how it was explained in the all hands meeting) But i get what you're saying.
