I'm off to Death Grips! See ya punks later, #STAYNOIDED

Kid Cudi has save the show for me, now I'm happy to watch it consistently again.

3. Driving between skyscrapers in Furious 7
2. Any fuckin' scene in Magic Mike XXL
1. Final scene in The Tribe

Just got back from seeing Trainwreck a second time. On the formal side of things, Jody Lee Lipes (Martha Marcy May Marlene, Ballet 422) shoots this up about as well as anyone is allowed to do on something this mainstream. The digital look that is consistent throughout is constantly giving one a kind of complacency

Whiplash is the hottest shit! I nearly died!

What about the cinematography and editing? That's most of what I've been thinking about (in all areas of thought) for these past four (now five) weeks and how the editing is constantly conveying where the power lies in each person while the combination of handheld and locked down cinematography is increasingly

I always assumed you were Serbian

The memes live on inside of all of us

I don't know if there is anything more subjective than what is cinematographically uninteresting or boring (the four films of Godard that I have seen are the most extreme opposite of both for me) but I would welcome one's explanation of why they feel that way over simply stating it.

I like when they share their opinions of them but I've never/rarely been fond of it being done with such malicious intent (only when it's entertaining like Vincent Gallo displaying his absurd meanness). With Bergman specifically he only offers empty criticisms of their films being boring or that they don't understand

Would you agree with him that the performances in Citizen Kane are terrible? Or are you referring to his films? I'm curious (I didn't want to say "genuinely curious" because I only see that used in a prodding manner).

Autumn Sonata was pretty good! I finally saw a Bergman film I could stand! It is surprising that he can write such complicated people with such sympathy given his despicable comments regarding other filmmakers (not even getting into the Antonioni comments, how does this hack think he can get away with calling Orson

Shit, man, so excited to watch this imminently. And then probably again without the alcohol + less legal intoxicants but my analysis of things has only been enhanced in this state so I should be ayte.

Young Fathers
GFOTY or Hannah Diamond, not sure
Death Grips
Jim O'Rourke (not the "song" albums, the free improvisation and whatnots)

Will Disqus user The Narrator have 100,000 "votes" before he has 20,000 "comments"? The answer may surprise you…

Haha! I'm in the same boat (on the rivers of alcohol that is) and I am feelin' nice so from my perspective there's nothing wrong with your decision.

It's been on /tv/ for weeks though usually as a WebM
