I think 40 hours is way too much for an adventure game. I love the game, but hated how it seemed to be building up for its conclusion and still be far from over after that. I prefer shorter games that make me want to replay it time and time again.

I think Okami’s one of the best Zelda games there is. But I agree that it is too long. I never finished it because of that.

Why no images from the original version? I think the best way to play this is getting the fan translation to the original and emulating it, that way you can use save states in the final dungeon.

I think a better way to play this (and 1) is with FF Origins, for PS1, available on PSN.

Yeah, I remember the Game Gear. It even had an adapter to play Master System games. The Genesis one was called Nomad. I hear the Sonic games for the GBA were good too, though.

I already gave up on the series a season ago. Because of possible spoilers, but mostly because I couldn’t stomach how they kept changing stuff from the books for no good reason. The problem now is that this whole situation is taking away from my excitement about the future books, not only because of the spoilers but…

I love HCBailly’s LP’s, too. He’s funny, gives good tips and plays good games. Love that he’s playing Phantasy Star now, one of the greatest series that’s underapreciated these days.
