Let’s remember this isn’t the game, it’s a figurine.

“At Nintendo’s recent investors meeting, company honcho Satoru Iwata was asked specific details on the upcoming home console that’s codenamed Nintendo NX”
From everything I’ve seen, Team Ninja really isn’t to blame for Other M’s story and cutscenes, they only did the gameplay portion of the game. Another company was hired to do the cutscenes, and the writer and main director was Metroid’s co-creator, Yoshio Sakamoto.
What other franchises? The ones created by Black Isle Studios, which later became Obsidian?
Just a heads up - you misspelled (in two different ways) Joe Madureira's name. Love his work, by the way.
I think it would have been a much better send off without that epilogue, and that was Konami's fault. Kojima wanted a different ending.
Well, Konami did stop Kojima from killing off Solid Snake in MGS4, so I guess that means they're not done with the character.
Those are some good examples, really. Mikami and Itagaki sure weren't making games alone. And when they left, look what great games came out from those two series.

Does this mean Konami will only be making Pro Evolution Soccer and Kojima will be able to do something other than Metal Gear?
Great to see PES 2015 on the list. After the mess that was last year's game, it's great to see Konami back. One of the best PES's in years.
I think there's no problem. Solid Snake's story was nicely wrapped up, but Big Boss's was still missing the link to how he went from hero to the vilain he was in MG1.
Yeah, MGS4 was the same way, too.
Yes, please. And Sony could help bring Yakuza 5 before that, too.
Yeah, I really don't know if they have Steam or any similar service. You may be right.
Still, it was pretty much an exception to the rule for them at the time. As far as I know, they only released those four titles (and four more, I guess, under the name of Sega Falcom, which were really programed by Sega) in 94/95 and then went right back to the PC.
They also ported Popful Mail for the Super Famicom and released, exclusively for the PC-Engine CD, Legend of Xanadu I and II around that same time.
Too bad the last PC game they developed was in 2008. I hope that with this new found popularity of their old games on Steam, they'll consider releasing games for PC again.
Just a heads up: the Ys games on PC aren't ports, they're the originals. The only PC Ys we're still missing in the west is VI, which I believe XSeed will bring over sooner or later.
