The description says this was rendered in real-time. Given that it’s also pretty much a CryEngine cinematics advertisement, I’d love to get an executable outta this

I’ve heard mythical things about 2003 Star Wars Galaxies, when it was new and free-form before major updates transformed it into a run-of-the-mill MMO. Wish I could’ve been there.

What is up with people and giant space worms? Do they WANT to die or have their cities torn apart from beneath the ground

SSAO has always been garbage when it comes to separate objects close to each other. Crysis was the first game to implement it, and at the time it was something of a revelation because of the way it added depth to intersecting surfaces and foliage I guess, but everyone saw the funky black “shadows” that you’d get when

Oops! Thanks for pointing that out. Should be fixed.

On another note, I remember starting the series as a tiny boy with Tomb Raider II, and it was so interesting how she was just outright one of the most badass characters ever and it didn’t even register with me that she was a female gaming heroine. It’s sad how today it isn’t more common.

I hey because after orgasm the words aren’t coming out properly so there’s nothing else to say that isn’t embarassing

Last year's Fury X certainly isn't a budget build GPU. Nor were the excellent R9 290X, HD 7970, and many other classic AMD cards throughout the years.

Why are you calling AMD the budget brand

Deus Ex would have been very happy with this level of acting

Ahaha, ahaha, aahhhh no.

Enemy Starfighter (now renamed to the tragically clichéd “House of the Dying Sun”) had the most amazing retro styled box art I'd ever seen.
