I have a GTX 980. I am entitled to think whatever I want, because one of the great beauties of PC gaming is the customizability of the experience. Low FPS can be OK in many situations, if the result is notably improved image quality, and if gameplay isn’t completely founded on twitchy, high-precision movements.

Some people, like me, prefer visual fidelity to FPS. This is why I’m OK with running The Division barely hovering around 30FPS at 4K - she ain't smooth but she looks real.

What I absolutely do not get is what this relative powerhouse of a CPU is doing running Android, when the x7-z8700 is the same sumbitch that you’ll find on the very, very good Surface 3. Meanwhile, that Cherry Trail integrated GPU can be seen playing some standard PC games on low - both the 2013 Tomb Raider and Diablo

Wait wait wait. GIANA SISTERS IS STILL A THING? As in the legendary Super Mario clone that happened to have one of the greatest soundtracks of the era?

Wasn't it made out to be gameplay? I remember a few people being skeptical back then since all the news Xbox 360 and PS3 target render videos were so popular and no one could tell who was being realistic anymore.

Around that time, “target render” videos, or CGI trailers that supposedly represented the developers’ goals for a game’s visuals, were very popular. This trailer was posed as a gameplay video ten years ago, as I recall.

It was a target render, very common for its time. See Madden games and Killzone 2 from that period.

The game finally looks as good as its bullshot trailer from ten years ago!

THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW

It’s not just a desktop 980, it’s also a desktop Skylake CPU. Vast difference between that and something like the i7-6700HQ

You'd quickly be out of work and the target of a million lawsuits after such a stunt, of course.

The iconic LA-Noire-Is-Super-Accurate article:

I’m on a GTX 980, and last month I got one of those rare 4K TVs that supports 4K@60 over the HDMI 2.0 port as well as 4:4:4 chroma, making it perfect for PC gaming. I’m now on a quest to play every game in my past at 4K, and right now I’m plowing my way through TESIV: Oblivion just for kicks. Also I rented a nice

You must be talking about Myth II: Soulblighter. If you changed the installation directory when you installed the game, upon uninstalling it would clear out your hard drive.

haha you lucky bastards. I’d kill for 1000mbps @ 70/month. In my country, the local provider just started rolling out 50mbps for the equivalent of $62/month and for us Third Worlders, that’s like manna from heaven.

My past two exes had been my best friends for years before anything happened between us, and such was the strength and maturity of our relationships that in both instances, when we had to break up for various reasons, we parted amicably and still remain best friends today. This “piece of wisdom” was probably conjured

Not only is “size” wrong, but so is “twice.” 4K is 4 times more dense than 1080p.

Break grass instantly with just your hands. Then get the seeds. Use the hoe to till land within a couple blocks of water, and plant seeds.

Supreme Commander’s got you covered. Not only can you do what you’re talking about, you can also have separate, full game views on both monitors. Ten year old game too.
