I don't recall anything being said about Dreamfall (the original sequel to TLJ) having originally been episodic. I only remember the announcement of Chapters being episodic, and feeling half-half about whether this was a good or a bad thing.

Episodic releases was indeed the original plan for Dreamfall Chapters, back in 2007 when the game was announced. At the time, Valve's push for episodic gameplay, with SiN Episodes and the HL2 Episodes, seemed to be the next big model, and with little funding going to TLJ development, it made sense at the time to go

It's closer to Just Cause 2.

The 780 Ti is faster than the Titan. Maybe you're thinking of the Titan Black.

3x Titans. I will eat my words now and bow.

Impressive. Even moreso when you consider that everything you're seeing is rendered in realtime. Think of it as being similar to Valve's Source Filmmaker, only you can make "can your PC run..." jokes every time you use this one.

This image is somewhat what I had in mind when I watched Linklater's "A Scanner Darkly" and thought of the original story.

I'm not going to support that side of their argument, but rather I'll offer this little anecdote from a little while back. In my transition from one ancient desktop to a new one, I found that naturally, many of my games ran at 60FPS compared to the slideshows of the past. Yet somehow the games seemed to look less

If Frank Lloyd Wright were here, he'd have a waterfall coming outta his hat.

To some, including TotalBiscuit, that feels like an excuse, sacrificing frame rate for the sake of higher resolution and increased graphical fidelity.

The title "A Story About My Uncle" sounds more appropriate for *that* kind of swinging...

That's understandable - it's a similar complaint to what Star Trek fans had concerning the Borg Queen, where the writers transformed the implacable hive mind of the Borg into something with a flimsy, stereotypical, "killable" presence.
