I see why there were no door handles on the concept now. This looks about 80%, the rear light treatment is less cool. Far less slammed. They could still pull it off if it has hips.

I’ve always had BMW’s too. I’m just not blindly loyal to them as some users are. They drive great. I just expect that I’ll have to fix them more often than my Hondas.

My point is the slippery slope which is “reliability”. To me, reliability means “make it to 200K miles with fluid change and consumable replacements”.

I think they know there are too many racers to make the most powerful version AWD only. They’d have a mutiny on their hands (i.e. they’d defect to Porsche).

My 76 Firebird used to go thru a quart of oil per tank. It started up with a blue cloud though. 

According to Car and Driver they had one for 40K miles and it used 20 Extra quarts of oil over that 40K. Ford says under severe duty up to a quart every 500 miles is fine. My guess is low tension rings and a not very effective vacum pump.
