Rule of thumb: In warranty? = stealership. Outta warranty? = Indy or DIY.

I need this motor for my 850. CP because I don’t need the rest of it.

I am surprised. 6'4" here. I owned a first gen CTS which was fine with me as a driver alone and my wife. As soon as a car seat was involved, the writing was on the wall, too small, even she had to move to an uncomfortable position, although just barely fitting. I always wanted to like the ATS but it just wasn’t

The V-variant will likely have something better than a 2.0. And if it’s RWD and cheaper than an RS3, it will have some decent value.

Weird.  All I see is a field of grass and some lettering...

“The costs over the years has been minimal compared to that of a brand new/new’ish vehicle.”

An inspection in PA typically costs around $75 including the emissions test, plus any repairs. Typically these repairs are new tires, new wipers, etc. My 99 M3's last inspection came with a quote for nearly $4000 in repairs. By ordering aftermarket parts (Bilstein struts over BMW etc.) and a used headlight cluster off

Based on personal experience, I’m going to have to agree here. The German product I owned seemed fragile and needy. The Japanese cars seemed more willing to go places without being pissed about it.

Honda: “Sure, let’s go there. La-la-la-la-la...”

VW: “Really?! You’re going to make me take you there again?! You bastard.

The s65 motor is incredible. It’s a misconception that it was some big heavy unit - it’s actually lighter than the s54 from the e46. When revved, the intake noise is positively exotic — and it loves to rev.

The stats are on point. This pretty much closes the gap to the C63 and the Alfa QF. Given the M3/4's much lower weight even in F8x guise I wouldn’t be surprised to see the new one give the M5 a run for its money with the comp pack. The S55 in the current M3/4 is very under rated from the factory so I’d suspect this

... one of those things his refined pallet looks for.

How many people bought the “plush” riding now discontinued XTS? The reason ATS and CTS and CT6 were getting the publicity was because they were equal to or better than the German competition in performance and handling, especially the V and V-Sport versions. If they didn’t have it going for them they would be in the

So you’re saying putting a sample withshe’s got a booty like a Cadillac” in a commercial may make even less sense in the future?

I agree.  I heard a Mazda 787B in person, and I can tell you it sounds glorious... when it’s on the other side of the track.  When it’s on your side, you don’t hear anything, as you’re just ducking for cover.

Civic Type R on 18" TE-37s

I have no direct comparison experience, but for what it’s worth I’ve read that PASM cars are dramatically different riding. Comparing the 2018 Cayman S w/ 20" wheels and PASM (5k miles on it) to my 2015 m3 with 50k miles on it on 18" wheels with adaptive suspension....well, the Cayman rode ALOT better over the same

Yep, granted this had extensive work done to it (and chrome wheels are inherently terrible) this tuner version looks great.

I drove a car with a lot of RA. It was really a bitch to drive at 10%. Steering was darty, it tramlined like hell and would kick back on a pebble.

Lol.

There’s another factor. Reverse Ackerman steering.
