Manual cars are easier to drive than ever.

I am a manual man. Always have been, always will be.

Assuming they make a M4 version, this would be a turbo charged straight 6 AWD with a manual.  Isnt that the R34 we’ve wanted for the last 20?

Have a BMW loving extended family! When everyone has one, it makes it easier for one to go down for maintenance.

Are all E90s equiped with such dual steering? How does one toggle them on/off? Is there an interesting article/youtube somewhere that talks about this in more detail?

Have you ever driven a car with no power steering at all? They’re usually super stiff and very communicative. Weight does not filter out feel at all. It’s usually the opposite. I’m not sure why your car felt bad. I know some E90 cars had electronic power steering. Maybe the wagons all had EPS. I don’t know. But the

Yea I live with a F30 M3 on a daily basis once or twice a year while I do maintenance on my E46 M3. It really has convinced me to stay away from BMW on my next purchase. I briefly considered a F30, then drove it and thought it was a great old-man’s car. It was very fast but the engine was uninspiring along with a

There are 2 things that I assume an E90 person could point to for the argument.

“I was worried about maintenance so I bought a V10 Audi”

I’m more particular to the 3000GT, as I used to one one of them, but yea, same situation. If I could, I’d have all 4 - Supra, Z, RX, and 3000GT. I miss them.

First gen RX-7s were reliable (and are probably the most reliable rotary engines you can buy even today). Second gens were pretty good as long as you didn’t buy the turbo. Third gens? Nope, well, at least not compared to the earlier cars. 80-100k out of a stock engine is entirely reasonable, 200k+ like the earlier

I just saw one of these yesterday, and commented how it looks like it could still be on sale today. I love ‘em.

I am toying with the idea of selling my 2008 M3 (E90 - 4 door version) with manual 6 speed. I love love love my M3. But, I have also lusted after a Tesla for a while. I think the S is a beautiful car, but was reluctant to pull the trigger on that because I thought it compared in weight and handling more with a

Disagree. I hated the e46m3 for a long time. I thought it was too choppy and too hard. The e9x is the opposite. It’s a GT car, a highway cruiser. Sure its faster than the e46, but its softer and less special. While I believe the e46 and e9x are both well done in their subtilty in styling over their standard 3 series

The V8 M3, the blasphemous one, the wicked brother, and my personal favorite.

Leaving the E30 out of this, the E46 tops this list, but having just driven an E92 for the first time, it might be a lot closer than people think...

In reverse order:

I like you, Raph.
