If you can handle the work, an E36 or E46 M3 is similar but not as fast. May be a better fit for a DD/DE car if you have trouble keeping it sane.

That said, if you don’t add power and are not on DOT-R’s (or better), most modern turbo cars hold up ok to your average HPDE abuse.

If it were me, I’d find the nicest GSR Integra I could find for the money.

I’m with you on these, absolutely incredibly beautiful. I’ve seen maybe 3 on the road and a local import place has one sitting in their showroom. I’ve stopped a few times to oggle it and the FD is on my “must own” list.
