If a polygraph were less than 50% accurate, it would by definition also be more than 50% accurate. A 100% inaccurate polygraph would be completely reliable, you’d just have to move the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ labels! [50% accuracy is the least accurate you can be with a binary outcome]

…or c) these movies are filmed on a green screen and it’s entirely common for people to appear in scenes together without ever having met.

I mean, this critique would probably have a lot more merit in my opinion if MCU’s answer to Superman wasn’t a woman? With a multitude of diverse women heroes taking up residence in phase 4, (literally nicknamed M-SHE-U), I think this is an unfair observation. It’s just not true. It sounds to me like you just don’t

I was being openly facetious. It’s like I tell my ex-wife: I never invest in assets I can’t see. Besides that, it’s all in the indexes.

I wish I had a good chronic masturbator joke at the moment, they always come in handy.

Honestly, I was ready for this to be wayyy less boat-like than it is.

Specifically, Gamer Nexus called out online headlines taking their poor battery ratings and ignoring that they had maxxed out the settings in those scenarios. The Steam Deck has options for saving battery, one being to force limit the FPS to 30 (which is fine for the resolution). If players don’t want lower resolution

I don’t know either. Most of his jokes make fun of himself, and he’s a big proponent of addressing mental health issues, his own especially, and encouraging people to see doctors and take the meds they need. People make fun of him for living with his mom; what isn’t said is that he bought the house for her and that

I don’t understand the regular hate Pete Davidson gets. Under “controversial comments” on his his wiki page, it mentions some shit he’s talked about the Catholic Church and Dan Crenshaw (so who cares.) The guy’s comedy isn’t my cup of tea, and to my eyes he looks like a weirdo (I’m in my late-30's, get off my lawn,)

it probably wasn’t, that’s not how ERC-721 tokens work

They used to though. I remember back in the early 2000s when I had to buy RahXephon on seven DVDs at $20/pop, or how NGE was spread across 13 VHS tapes. Luckily the appetite for non-box sets in the US killed that off real quick.

Yes.

Hey Spanfeller! Go forever fuck yourself!

Piracy damages are non material. They work on the dishonest and fraudulent assertion that each infringement instance constitutes a lost sale. That has been flat out debunked far too much and yet its the excuse always used to keep extending copyright terms and creating ever more draconian rights over IP.

One of the problems I’ve always had with “piracy damages” as a concept is it’s completely theoretical and almost always based on the false assumption that the same people pirating something would be legitimately paying customers if piracy wasn’t an option, which is nearly never true.

The best surprise is that this post wasn’t a slideshow.

Your “point” is like accusing a hostage of “participating” in a hostage situation.  There’s no other game in town, and no other way to survive in this society. The fact that the system of Capitalism makes us all complicit in its inherent inequality is not an argument in its favor. Quite the opposite, actually.

A small device is affixed under each player’s shirt that “pops,” making a hole in the shirt and oozing out a brownish liquid.

Have you even tried playing what’s available lately? I totally agree with you about Sq42, but Star Citizen is pretty fun as it is right now. I’m not really sure what the point of your article is to be honest. It’s not like you gave them $400M and there's obviously thousands of people who are enjoying the game as it is
