I’ve never, under any circumstances, thought keying someone’s car could ever be justified. Until now.
Top Gear: hire this guy.
If they treat a 1.4 million dollar car like that, I wonder what kind of condition they’ll leave their rented, $45k/Month house?
It was a joke, dude, but thanks for taking the time out to demonstrate your superiority! Though I’ve won TTs at Laguna, I look forward to the day when I know the track as well as you.
Where’s the video of her walking her bike between turns 5 & 6 to avoid getting flagged for sound?
No one told her to brake for the hairpin, unfortunately. She went in too hot, locked up the rear, and the rest is history.
Honda just keeps fucking up.
Three LEDs and a $2 piece of 90 degree extruded aluminum is all you need for a fender eliminator.
Anyone with aspirations to go fast on a track should avoid this car, like any other overweight, under-tired, softly-suspended new car out there. Way too many ‘bros’ have showed up in VWs only to discover how unfast and uninspiring VW cars are at the limit.
Shutting down streets to promote cycling awareness makes about as much sense as randomly assaulting children as part of an anti-bullying campaign.
Sean MacDonald: Seriously? You’re recommending crashing over the potential of breaking an ankle? Would you also recommend not wearing seatbelts to prevent bruising during a car accident?
Nolan X-Lite X802R (which is not sold in the US) comes in at 1240 grams. I tried one on in the U.K. and it was fucking unbelievable. Felt about as heavy as a baseball cap. Unreal. (And it came in at about the same price as the Icon.) I’m not too concerned over Icon’s overzealous marketing campaign, nor am I too…
The GT350R didn’t get flagged for sound by the db Nazis in their mic turret between 5 and 6?
Guys, guys....calm down. Everyone is injecting into my comment things that aren’t there.
“Car”ma? It’s a pun. And it’s used correctly.
The only part I had in the transmission failure was that I heard the story from her husband a week after it happened. Knowing how disrespectful she can be towards those in the service industry, I put 2 and 2 together (the story began with, “her car wasn’t ready on time and she had to call continuously for updates”).…
I know a woman who treats everyone in the service industry (maids, hotel clerks, waitresses, mechanics) with intense disrespect. She took her car in for an oil change and 2 miles later later her transmission failed. Only I (and the mechanic) know why there was so little transmission oil in her BMW. Carma is a bitch.
Refreshing to see genuine enthusa-journalism (with bonus Ferrari sacrilege) instead of a litany of droll commentary typically associated with vintage vehicles. Would love to see you cover Goodwood next year, Raphael!
I’m 6’ and I feel just like that guy when I stand next to a GS. Bike is BIG.
