Yeah I think this whole situation needs some bacon.

So I get sweet + something like bacon, which is super salty and savory. But I’m not sure American cheese is a strong enough flavor to contrast with how sweet a donut is. I do like sweet + cheese as a general concept, but I think the cheese has to be something stronger like a cheddar or goat cheese for it to work.

I think the medical costs of an elderly dog should be taken into consideration too. Had I not had a good upward career trajectory I don’t think I could have afforded the multiple surgeries my 11 year old aussie has needed over the last three years. His last surgery set me back $5k.
