reblochon is mmmmmm! so good. i think it’s really a seasonal/winter cheese and it dies fast, so we probably already missed its window anyway, especially for imports? but in my mind it’s always reblochon season lol. i don’t know anymore. we lost touch. it’s sad.
it’s wayyyy way funkier than brie. so funky, it’s forbidden.
yeah, i often have to go on long drives and minor expeditions, and road cheese is king.

yeah it’s “made” (sorta) for deep fryers, as i understand. i’ve always seen it at walmart in the giant gallon things. seems to be a “southern” thing (canola is canadian). five guys, as i recall, a virginia-based chain, fries their potatoes in peanut oil (and offers free peanuts while you wait).
wasn’t peanut the canonical choice? yeah... cheap by the gallon too. highly atherogenic if i recall correctly, but nothing wrong with the occasional treat.
hahahahahhahah

hahahah
i do something like this, but without the bagel:

if olympic rowers leave it between 3 and 5, i’d say leave it on 3, beginners feel free to go lower, to 2, to 0 even, lest you wreck your spine with bad form.
i agree with the idea of focusing on what you have not what you lack. not because of any kind of woo, but because it is motivating rather than depressing.
i don’t know, i’m not a professional electrician, but i rely on somewhat delicate electronics to make a living, so i need to heed the alarms of the safety equipment.
once i put my green chiles on a gas range flame and pepper sprayed the kitchen so it was hard to breathe/see for a couple of minutes 😆
