Yeah, if someone else picked Korina's look, there's room for some pointed barbs, or whatever, but that's not nearly as dramatic as her and Char being paired together.

Yeah I didn't think that that omission led to the manipulation of Char and Korina having to work together, I just though it was super strange, since Alexander was auf'ed the episode before Korina. I thought, if anything, they would have omitted the kid's outfit since it was less material and more difficult to change…
Except that's not every season. By the time you got to the end of the earlier seasons you were generally left with a couple of good options any of which could justifiably win. Maybe there'd be one dud that got through, but it'd never occur to you that they would win because the producers were set on selling a…
But if it was the last X number, why wasn't Alexander's design included? That really confused/bugged me.
Except previous challenges have contestants pick from either the last loosing looks or all of them that season. Yeah, Korina's would have been in regardless, but Mitchells? Producer fingerprints as far as the eye can see.
I completely agree and posted something to this effect on the PR site; Korina took Nina's comments very personally. She tried to tell Char it wasn't about her but Char took Korina's remarks personally, too. I also think it was completely unfair that they got help with the one-hour showdown, because Sean obviously…
It feels kind of off to think of the things they edit out as behind the scenes but I guess that's is kind of the case. Anyway I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a screed about the judges and producers right after that "it's not about you" line that got cut out because infighting between designers is good drama,…
Good point. Anya always chose the most gorgeous fabrics, but literally only made one dress.
Yup to all that. There is no way in hell Char should be presenting at Fashion Week. I was rooting for her at the beginning because I like her, and she's representing Detroit. But everything she has made just hasn't been good enough. Both her looks last night were awful. The producers clearly want her Tim Gunn save to…
Anya. The producers' fingerprints were a tad subtler that season but they were still there pushing a mediocre talent for reason that had nothing to do with the clothing she produced. I mean she showed up for fashion week with a rack of clothes Tim and the judges hated and suddenly everyone got a shit more money to…
I hate to agree with you , because I think Tim Gunn is jesus, but Char isn't really that great. Maybe with some extra time she can pull something great off, but I'm not that into her stuff. At all.
They're all worked hard, stressed, and pushed to work. She is the one who had the meltdown, while everyone else maturely kept their thoughts on Char's numerous saves to themselves. At the end of the day, there is only one winner. I don't think this is picking her apart. It's recapping a meltdown by a reality tv show…
It's funny, because I want Wendy Williams to just shut up in general.
I don't think she handled it well at all, but I interpreted it as Korina saying that she didn't think she could be impartial and wouldn't give Char the best help she could give. I'd rather she admit that and leave than stick around and end up unconsciously sabotaging Char's work.
THANK YOU. Agree with everything you said.
Also, "torn to shreds" is overstating
Nope. This is criticizing her reaction and actions on the show. That's all I can go off. I get the frustration and annoyance - like, why are y'all bringing me back after kicking me off
I have to wonder if some of her apparent bitchiness toward Char wasn't really misdirected anger at the producers. Char essentially got two producer-orchestrated saves — the Tim Gunn save and then the additional time in a later week to add a zipper to her outfit for their "woman on the street" challenge — and was about…
On one hand, Korina is a total mean girl and I wasn't upset to see her off the show. On the other, Char has had sooooooo many chances. I've never seen a contestant on this show get so many chances. It is inexplicable since she's pretty mediocre as a designer.
I think Korina got really, insanely, offended when Nina referred to all of her looks as "Southwestern" because Korina is Pacific Northwestern Native American. I don't think Korina knew how to articulate how she was feeling and so she took it out on the wrong people. It would have been like Korina calling Nina a…
