I agree with a lot of what you're saying and think it's very insightful! In the spirit of PR fan-dom and reality tv spectatorship I'll throw in my thoughts to you: I think ultimately, while craftsmanship is important and I too want to see good designs, this show, like any other reality show competition, is a

So as the top dog on the Shade court, does that make you Ruth Shader Ginsburg?

The fact that they think that to suck their dicks somehow would reduce a persons value really says alot about what they think about themselves and their own self worth

Yep it looks like they've officially requested an end to that sort of lewd behaviour.

So we're done with blow jobs now, right? Wrap it up, ladies, the bros have spoken.

Also, any guy who enjoys blowjobs and uses "dick-sucking" as an insult is a fucking hypocrite.

Yeah, they could do a better job of promoting people. Unfortunately, that comes down to the writers who have better things to do like write and stuff. It would be nice if they hired an Admin—someone who only patrolled comments for abuse and who actively sought to identify people who can express their opinions in

I just want to say: I HATE the new Kinja variant on the Grays. I hate that comments I make are *never* visible to anyone. I hate that the space I used to think of as a community has completely silenced me because I'm not part of the in-crowd. You want to put us less-frequent commentators lower on the list—-fine.

I mean, they have to do something. The talent pool for this show has slowly been dwindling and the challenges have become stupider and stupider (make an avant garde look for a RAINWAY because SAMSUNG CURVED TV!! What the everlovingFUCK).

Jesus H. Christ in a chickenbasket, give them MORE TIME and REAL CHALLENGES.

So yeah, I have thought Korina seemed like an entitled bitch from pretty much the first episode, and I have been yelling at her throughout the season and actively rooting against her, but I think this situation is also bullshit and I get why she's so upset.

Char wouldn't even have necessarily had to pick it. Korina being in the same room as Char could have been enough to create some drama. So, still producer manipulation methinks.

I'm with you. Korina's attitude hasn't been great and it's been there since the beginning. Yet, at the same time, I don't think I've ever seen such an underwhelming designer (Char) go to fashion week. She was given chance after chance, and I don't think anything she's made has been even remotely remarkable. It's clear

I agree! But that is how she reacted, misdirected or not, and she acknowledged that the way she felt meant that she wouldn't be able to be an adequate helper in the workroom.

Well, in fairness, EVERYONE talked smack about Sandhya. With some justification.

I think you nailed it — her entitlement came face-to-face with legit criticism and she didn't like it one bit.

also, yes yes and yes on char and her save and the producers justifying it.

But she should have saved her disgust for Tim and the judges. It's not like Char had any say at all in what happened, so her anger at Char was completely misdirected.

I somewhat think that they did the Korina bring back on purpose and knew she would flip out from the get go. Yes in the last few seasons they've had eliminated contestants come back for the last or second to last episode. Normally they go in elimination order for these type of things and they randomly skipped

For me it comes down to Korrina being a better designer and Char having a (much) better personality. I really can't blame her for being upset and I'd probably be thinking-but not saying-a lot of what she was expressing. This season was pretty blah.

For people who think Korina got the villain edit or that this is all faked—Tim Gunn is usually very honest in his post-mortems. In this NYT article on Tim Gunn today, he didn't name names, but was clearly referring to Korina: "It goes without saying that when a designer is out and leaves the show, they are hugely
