My car’s system from 2005 works fine, but it is laser-based so rain and a dirty lens create problems for it. Radar would be better in that regard. Functionally it works fine for me when I’m on the highway. The newer systems with full stop and start seem pretty slick.

It was the same Northstar V8 they were using in everything else but with a smaller bore to accommodate the additional power.

It’s crazy only 96 of these were made in 2009.  One thing I always hated on the STS-V was that you couldn’t get adaptive cruise control even though it was an option on the STS.  Back when I was shopping STSs in 2015 the Vs still had quite a premium so I focused mostly on STS4s with the 1SG package.  I still would love

I liked this clear voice to text screw up better: “help the card to part of the paying attention for you. “

I just realized an example: In the remake of The Italian Job they bought a Mini Cooper S at first to pull of the heist, but since it needed to be upgraded to handle the weight of the gold, instead of buying two more of the same, they bought base models (as evidenced by the lack of hood scoops) to save money.

It’s wild to me that this thing is shorter than a Phantom and only about 200 lbs heavier.

Now that just sounds like a lovely afternoon.

I knew his end was nigh when he started selling mortgages right before the housing downturn.

Those wheels get a ton of hate, but really like them.  My exes mom had one of these cars, and she put a set of winter tires on the chromed wheels while her summer tires were on the regular alloy ones.

Especially since you can get a Chevy in LTZ trim and have the exact same luxury and brand cachet as a buick.

This is exactly what I was thinking.  I’d pay $7,500 for one of these, but this isn’t it.

Still better than that car with all the boogers.

Probably why the owner had this stuff removed before taking delivery.

That’s why the Escalade EXT was a much better version with the body-colored cladding.

In your defense, that should have been pretty bulletproof but for the suspension and wear parts.

But, for some, that is entirely the point.

Oh yeah, my $40/month extra is totally worth it.

This is an awesome car with a neat provenance.  The modifications look like they were done very well, and the condition is really good.  That being said, the price is just too high.  I really wanted to vote NP, but I just couldn’t do it.

Evading taxes isn’t the same as a pay raise.

I do this every time. Most recently, the dealership told me they could beat my CU so I went said I would go with their financing. The dealer lied, so I bought a car with a personal check.  My CU was able to able to help me close on the loan first thing next morning so my check would clear.
