I really don’t care about lap times. I care about driving experience. Lap times and horsepower are just useless metrics. They do nothing to describe how the car drives. So many of the “fast” cars nowadays suck to drive.

Just ordered mine yesterday! 2 Door Black Diamond Trim, 2.3L engine with the 7 speed, roof rack, and tow hitch in Race Red! I can’t wait to get it!
For me it’s World Rally Blue on the Subarus.
I watched Matt Farah’s review of this a couple of days ago, and it seems like a decent car, but the transmission (with it’s inability to downshift when asked) would drive me nuts.
Yeah, but historically, the ST cars have been fun manual FWD hatches that were a joy to drive. Speed and numbers aren’t everything. The Focus and the Fiesta are a hoot to drive, while the Edge and Explorer just feel like fast SUVs, but fun they are not. The old Focus and Fiesta prioritized driving over numbers. Hell,…
Actually, I’ll just take that please. Still bummed we don’t get the current ST line up in the US (Explorer and Edge don’t count)
Didn’t the Golf R at one point have 296hp in the US? I felt like it was a lot closer to the 300hp mark, especially since it always got compared with the STi and the Focus RS.
This seems like a bad Photoshop. It looks like the vehicle was stationary and then it was made to look “dynamic” afterwards.
Man, I wish we would get SEATs here. I think for their most part their line up looks much better than the VWs they’re based on.
Yup, that’s decided then. I want the two door. I’ll even take it in that yellow please!
I like it. I’d much rather have this over a Tesla
Thanks for the shout out Torch!
I was playing Burnout Paradise Remastered yesterday on the PC. Still a great game!
This was the first Burnout game that I ever got and it got me hooked on series. This is still one of my favorite games ever!
The longest I have ever financed a car was 3 years, and that was on my WRX that I bought brand new off of the lot for just under $30k out the door.
I have a 1992 FWD V8 Italian Coupe with a name that’s a word spelled weird that is fun to drive but rusts horribly (sounds like basically every old Italian car)
I’ll let Jason Cammisa explain why.
I’m against smaller turboed engines. In the real world, you’ll never see the efficiency they claim and in most cases will wind up using more fuel than a similar powered NA engine.
