Needs a custom license plate - "APOLLO13". Been to the moon and back but didn't land there...

An NSX definitely would. So would a 3000GT VR4. The problem is they made about a million 2.5RSs, so you can almost certainly find one with fewer miles. Autotrader says there’s one in my town with 2/3 the miles and which is a wagon for about $3500 from a dealer. A little further away, there’s a sedan with half the

hey man, my 02 VW made it to 400k. Mileage isn’t bad, but the price certainly is.

I would tell them to seek professional help.

I love me a good 2.5 RS sedan, but I’d probably part with 1200 bucks max for this thing.

238,857 miles is how far it takes to get to the moon and 24,901.55 miles is the distance around the equator, so today’s ‘baru has been to the moon plus 2.3 times round the earth... which tells me it’s gotta have more rattles than a plane with Samuel Jackson on it... CP

Its a Vin Code Lengthener for when you get into a Wreck and don’t want to have to explain to everyone why you have about 7 digits instead of about 100.

It’s mostly me yelling at Ballaban that he’s “a loose cannon” and telling him not to “get personal.”

They will if we put the Mustang GT350R engine in them.

Oh, I bet we can do good and still make SOME fun of each other.

Law and Order SUV

Jalopnik VIU vehicle identification unit. When vehicular crimes are especially heinous call on Jalopnik VIU.

That’s awful. The manager swore up and down the seller did not ever work for them, but if this was from one of their employees, that’s indefensible.

I dont promote internet vigilantism at all but ... worst part is the response from PARAGON returning racist remarks, this is one of many...

“How can you tell engine size from that photo?”

I technically can’t. It could be an R/T. But the wheels indicate a high probability that it’s a base v6 model.

Looks like an older model to me. If I’m right, we’re talking about a 3.5l with 250hp. In other words, some dude was racing something that takes 7.1 seconds to reach 60mph, and something like 89 football fields to stop.

Funny enough I was just in line at FedEx and there was an owner of one of these rental special challengers. Dude was on his phone loudly exclaiming how he goes street racing all the time on the back roads, and how he “slayed” a bunch of guys. My eyes almost fell out of my head they were rolling so hard.

The 3.6 ain’t exactly a low HP motor. It’ll move the car plenty fast for a base motor.
