mmmm.... nothing like the sound of a 911 at 4 million RPMs ;)

I agree - also happen to think modern Porsches generally look best in white.

Yeah, mine is 10 years old at this point and only has 63k miles. It probably will last another 10-15 years without trying to hard.

I agree and I actually do this - have a Prius for daily driving duties and a “fun” car for “fun.” I’m not liking this new Prius any more than anyone else on here - it seems Toyota’s design department was infiltrated by Predators - but the Prius is very practical from its fuel economy, to its interior room, to its

Don’t forget Haddonfield!

I wonder if Cherry Hill real estate is permanently depressed 1-2% simply for being in Camden county? also, VIN number? come on Doug.

My friend bought a 2003 Ram 1500 manual Diesel for over 30k a year ago (60k+ miles). Apparently this generation is sought after because it was pre-emissions equipment installation that neutered fuel economy or performance or both.

You drooled over the Diablo? I had a dozen Lamborghini posters on my walls growing up (late 80s and very early 90s) and got one Diablo poster, then stopped. And I didn’t drool over a Lamborghini again until the Aventador. Just my opinion though... I thought the Diablo had more “tank” qualities than “spaceship”

Same with the 911 Turbo, most people call it a GT car.

I’m glad someone had this reaction too. Such an opinion stated as certain fact... I also feel exactly the opposite. Not particularly curvy, kind of loaw and wide and flat more than anything, with lots of slats and gills which don’t work for me aesthetically. It looks good from any angle, so long as it’s the front.

Can you explain that a bit more? What are you defining as the enclosure vs. the lens?

I have a number of stone chips in my hood. I was quoted $2k (no, I didn’t get any other quotes, just walked away) to repaint and reapply clear bra to my hood. A carbon hood can be had for cheaper, though you need different lifter struts and hood pins. So I didn’t do that either.

What people seem to forget when they dump on the 996 was how absolutely ancient the 993 interior was. It wasn’t bad, per se, and since it was the same for 30 years, was certainly classic. But it was not a modern car in any sense. The 996 was the first step towards modernization, and with an aftermarket head unit, you

I posted this in another comment, but it seems relevant here — this is the interior of my 996TT, probably with a similar stereo head unit as yours. It’s all leather and carbon fiber, nothing cheap about it IMHO. I really don’t understand the interior hate, unless people are just uninformed the differences between a

Some 996 interiors (cheapy plastic, etc.) but not all. With an updated head unit, I fail to see how this is “horrendous” — or were you talking about base model 996s and Boxsters?

How about a Beck Speedster, would that be OK?

Everyone ignores the the California T, it’s almost as if it doesn’t exist. Myself included.

See, I feel the exact opposite. I liked the scoops on the 360 and 430, then when they disappeared on the 458, I said, “too bad it doesn’t have shoulder scoops” ... maybe it’s my inner 8 year old, but the 488 is basically the turbo’d shoulder-scooped 458 I was hoping for.

Which event was this?

And how do you like it?
