@efalconer: Using it as Exchange is simple to set up and gives you push, along with contact syncing.

Yes. GOD yes. I would love a curated store for programs, that allows for seamless updating and easy full uninstallation (I hate having to use a program like Revo to go through and scrub all that's left over after an uninstall) while allowing me to submit trouble tickets and browse for new stuff in an easy to sort

@mgother: I really tried to use Picasa for all of my light photo editing needs, but I couldn't even figure out how to crop and resize. Irfanview gets my nod for things that don't require Photoshop.

@RubiksCube: Someone give this man a star.

I use 3 different levels of passwords. The first level is for registration sites, that can't affect my personal life (Lifehacker, Youtube). Second is for things that can affect me (Facebook) or I have some kind of admin/mod rights (couple forums). Third level is for anything to do with money (PayPal, banks) or

@3Djesus: For 10% of the population.

@N.Wolf: Because it's far easier to be able to give someone a single small drive with everything on it, that's wicked fast and very reliable, and you don't have to give them a handful of cards that might be misplaced.

@wanderingrabbi: Not at all. And the MiFi is even more of a rip than the AT&T plans; 1gb for $20 vs. 2gb for $25.

I do the 6 month box, but I do it for 12 in my closet (seasonal changes and all). If I don't use it for that long, I throw it out or give it away.

@cec: Oh, you mean the HTC Legend with the plastic/rubber stripe at the bottom, like the original iPhone? Yeah, that one. And the iPod Touch goes through the front glass, but since wifi has a larger range most people don't notice the reduced strength.

@cec: Can't; aluminum blocks cell reception. Wonder why iMac's and iPad's have the Apple logo in a different material? Wifi spot. And the 3G iPad has the black area on the top? Antenna.

@A.Jaswal: The TouchHD is a 3.8" screen, where the HD2 was the first 4.3 (EVO, DroidX). Depends on how you want to look at it I guess.

@Keith Whistler: No, it's an HD2 on T-Mo running Win7. The HD2 was the first of the bigass phones, not the EVO.

The only iPhone cases I will recommend to people are the Speck Candyshell cases, and the Otterbox. Aside from that, I'll try to talk people out of them.

Anyone post the "They're Raping Him!" scene(s) from SouthPark yet? No? Zoidberg wins!

@oopsmyeye: Yeah, me too. If my $3 gets us push faster, it'll have been worth it though.

@acidrain69: Right, so your argument against GM food patents has come down to the possibility of sabotage. Gotcha.

@acidrain69: Alright, now it's just getting absurd. It's pretty difficult to accidentally plant a multiple thousand acre farm with the wrong seeds, or planting them without knowing where they came from. And as far as sabotage, seriously? Do you have any concept of how BIG these farms are?

@acidrain69: The lawsuits weren't about cross pollination. It was about a deliberate cultivation of a product that was advertised with certain characteristics, that the farmers in question would have been intimately familiar with. The fact that it can be grown with no additional requirement from the company is

@acidrain69: They're not patenting wild species, just the one they've spent millions of dollars engineering. Forgive me for wanting to see enough return on investment to make the private sector WANT to pump money into these avenues of research.
