@Josh_Geyer: If the plan was to grow them on fish farms only, and not release them into the wild, they'd find a lot of support. Being genetically sterile would be amazing too.

@acidrain69: You are obviously remaining willfully ignorant of the specifics of the case. You'd be surprised as to how sharp, shrewed, and ruthless farmers can be.

@acidrain69: Because the public is rather stupid and easy to convince with simple slogans and repeated mantras. If I made a delicious candybar that was nutritious and not harmful to your teeth and contained all of your daily vitamins and minerals, but had (for unknown reasons) a minuscule amount of, say, lead (so

No push makes me a saaaaaad panda.

@Ellsass: I have Gmail hooked up as Exchange, so it would be push through that. But the battery drain is incredible when it does that; because when I open mail to send a reply it forces a poll of all 3 email accounts. Push SMS to an app will be FAR better battery for myself.

No push is a deal breaker. I'll pass.

@reddingofish: Those unsightly towers are how you get reception.

HAPPY? No. I could survive, but I would be less happy than I am now.

@Nitemancometh: I read your comment in his voice. It was... life-altering.

@muteboy: Too bad I'm only starred on Gizmodo :(. I'd promote the hell out of this one.

@WedgeTalon: DE can be purchased at most pool supply stores. As long as you keep it dry it'll keep for a long time as well.

@Time Pilot AKA: They're probably taking a smaller cut, but I can't imagine they're losing money on them. Especially the larger storage sizes; the extra memory chip is something like $17 to buy in bulk and the price jumps up $100 for that.

@not_a_virus.exe.vbs: Should have used that 30 day return window wisely. Buying a device in spite of the service will never be a good move.

@Wwhat: Ups benchmarks, along with making it much more responsive. It's not as much of a gain as the benchmark shows, but it's noticable for sure in day to day use.

My Captivate running a custom 2.1 ROM and 1.2ghz chip Quadrants at 1950-2050. 2.2 will be even faster, and Cyanogen will destroy even that. 1911 on Tegra is a joke.

Pfft. Go to XDA and install something like SuperUserExtreme and play around with an aftermarker launcher. You want fast? Almost 2k on Quadrant and everything works flawlessly.

@Dave-Farquhar: I thought that, but then I remembered I have a car charger.

@WingedGenius: Why can't I say no rewind or comercials? My iPod doesn't have those, and my 120gb music library has more selection than any radio station I've every heard. If FM radio was that good, then electronic makers would want to put the receivers in devices. Because they're trying to mandate it shows that

@j14: What reason would the cop have to tell a onlooker to get off the phone? Just beacuse a cop says it doesn't mean you should or have to do it.

@ostartero: And the ISP's will pass the cost onto current subscribers to offset the cost. And I dont' really want my internet cost to go up because someone in Bumblefuck Nowhere, WV, can't get high speed internet. There's a disadvantage to living in the boonies; lack of utilities is one of them.
