Mindhunter was great because it focused on the study of these killers and the impact it took on their personal lives, completely agree. I’m really sad it didn’t get picked up for another season/s because it seemed to be gaining momentum and going somewhere with the sparse allusions to catching BTK.

People have ALWAYS been interested in true crime and punishing the perps.  The idea that this is some modern phenomenon is a myth.

I understand why Emily writes about this, but I don’t understand why it’s given a platform?  Cheerleading seems like a fun hobby that keeps you active rather than a full time career, and anyone who goes into expecting it to be the latter just seems... silly?  There are lots of jobs that people take when they’re young…
