Sanders’ statement was pretty strong and he has offered his support to Omar early and often. It is unfortunate that the headline for this article does not reflect that Sanders was first and right in his public support of Representative Omar.

The same percentage of Sanders voters voted for Clinton as Clinton voters voted for Obama.  Sanders endorsement of Clinton was similar in kind, tone, and energy to Clinton’s endorsement of Obama.  The only people to blame for electing Trump are Trump voters and the members of the Electoral College.

Sanders is the most popular politician in America today.  You are just guessing, and it isn’t a very good guess considering that Sanders also polls better with minority voters than any other Democratic candidate.
