VW is actually smart enough to dim your dash lights when it's dark, so you can't see your speedo and gauges well at all if it's dark, your DRLs are on, but your driving lights are not. I don't know why more cars don't do this. It's a great cue if you forget.

VW has had fantastic steering wheels in GTI's for a while now.

I wouldn't worry much about that. Seems like the people buying them so far don't care. Of the 20 people that shared their age and reported ordering one already on a scrambler forum so far, the average age is 48. (with 31 the youngest, almost half over 50, and 77 is the oldest).

This review brought me joy. :)

I owned this BMW M Roadster about 12 years ago. I was working full time and going to college in the evenings, and a girl sat down next to me in class and saw my BMW keys. She looked at me and said "BMW's are yuppie cars." I tried defending myself briefly saying I wasn't a yuppie and I got it used and it's an M car

This is absolutely awesome! Ha!

I'm guessing they mean the mindset of catching somebody doing the abuse (video) rather than just preventing it (reduce HP). The "gotcha" mentality. Not sure I agree with the generalization though.

They balance the tires with Smart cars.

I love the Icon in yellow. I had a Triumph Bonneville from 2004 to 2006, but then sold it and got into other stuff. I haven't ridden since, but I've thought about getting a new bike every spring. I never pull the trigger though. I was contemplating a used Monster, but the Scrambler ticks all of the boxes for me in a

$kaycog for the first female prez!

Nope.

Luckily he was white.

Well, you did spend all of this time convincing everybody that owning a Ferrari is a terrible idea. Kind of shot yourself in the foot there Doug. :)

I have a VW — and recognized the light instantly. Sigh...

I agree. I'd say your guess of a 25% premium over a Golf R is very realistic, and I think they would sell them at that price too.

Now I see they at least added an * to the title. Sigh… I want one.

Where does this confirm that it's coming to the US? I see it's going to be at an auto show, which is neat, but I don't see anything that says it'll be sold here. That is clearly what that headline is implying.

Now it seems as though you have to write an article about what it's like letting other people drive your Ferrari.

Insane! That video looks sped up. It's not, but it totally looks like it.
